Frequently Asked Questions
At your first appointment you will be asked about your medical history and any past cosmetic treatments you have had. You will then be able to discuss the concerns you have and what treatments you are interested in. If you are unsure, Dr Samer will offer her expert opinion, keeping in mind the constraints you may have such as personal preference, budget and so on.
All the information about the treatment will then be explained to you so that you have full informed consent before proceeding. If you are happy to proceed, the first treatment will be done there and then. If not, you can reschedule to attend at another time for treatment.
Occasionally, treatment cannot be done at the first appointment for various reasons, but this is not typical.
Yes, you can wear makeup. Wrinkle relaxer treatments do not affect it at all and dermal fillers occasionally require removal of a little makeup as the skin needs to be cleansed prior to treatment.
You first appointment will take half an hour typically but if you are having a combination of treatments it may take a little longer. Dr Samer will not rush the appointment as she takes time to ensure the best possible cosmetic result is achieved. Subsequent appointments for treatment will typically take between 15 and 30 minutes. You will routinely have a follow-up appointment after your first treatment which is to review the results and ensure you are totally satisfied. This is a 15 minute appointment unless further treatments have been arranged to be done at the time.
Typically there is minimal pain or discomfort. Wrinkle Relaxer injections are like small scratches on the skin. They are very quick and most people barely feel them. Dermal fillers can be a bit more uncomfortable depending on which part of the face is being treated. Local anaesthetic is used as required to block pain.
- A consultation is $90 which will be waived if you decide to have a treatment on the day.
Dr Samer’s fees are based on the amount of product that is used for your treatment so prices will differ from person to person.
Wrinkle Relaxers:
- Forehead ~ $160
- Frown lines ~$320
- Crow’s feet (side of the eyes) ~$300 - $500
Dermal fillers are prepacked and come in 0.5ml and 1.0ml syringes. These cost $375 and $620 respectively. Once opened, the contents of the syringe belong to you and cannot be used on anyone else. You will pay only for the product that is opened for your treatment and larger volumes will be discounted a little.
Lipodissolve treatments:
- Chin $350
- All other areas $550 per treatment.
You can discuss costs over the phone prior to making your appointment to get a firmer quote.
